The learning area of the campus is organised as a group of Small learning communities that can accommodate around 100 to 120 children, along with mentors. Each community consists of 4 learning studios/classrooms arranged around an indoor multipurpose common area, a specialised activity studio, open learning decks, and a mentor zone. In each community, washrooms and drinking areas are adjacent to mentor zones; hence ensuring children are safe from bullying and other issues.
Learning studios (Classroom)
Open and spacious classrooms with natural daylight in the building convey the idea that learning should be enjoyed and celebrated. They are equipped with furniture which supports varied seating arrangements to support various learning methodologies and thus promote a flexible learning environment for every student.
Active Commons
The Multipurpose indoor activity areas enhance the interaction of children amongst themselves and thus enable them to learn various social skills. These commons facilitate inter-collaboration & versatility between students. Here, an open seating selection of couches and carrels lets students work individually, in small groups, or as a team—changing places as often as they need to make the most of their learning time. Active commons are equipped with an open library, audio visual aids as well and age-appropriate learning themes.
Learning Resources
All age-appropriate reference books and digital content are always available to the child in the facilities commons so that they help in the formation of the habit of self-learning. These learning resources uplift the learning abilities of children by making them imaginative, entertained, and attentive. Our mission is to provide services to all members of the school community to enhance teaching and learning, and to promote the enjoyment of reading.
Digital Learning
At Achievers, we have maintained the right balance between digital content and practical hands-on learning. As a part of our experiential learning system, we prefer to let children do things themselves, or let the mentors demonstrate the actual activities to them, wherever possible. We do use quality digital content from various sources on the internet (Disha, NROER, YouTube, SlideShare, Khan Academy, and others) and our digital content partners wherever required.
Mentor Zone
Open and accessible mentor zone provides passive supervision in the community and also encourages children to have an open interaction with their mentors. All the mentors of a community are always available in the same zone, which helps to build better interaction among them. They are also easily able to track the development of children across various subjects and also integrate lessons across various disciplines.
Science & Tinkering Lab
What the classroom teaches, the laboratory demonstrates & proves. That is why, at The Achievers School, the science lab is the most integral part of the day to day learning. It is equipped with many simple to complex working models, required resources for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Electronics. Our tinkering lab is also equipped with 3D Printer and VR Kits. It is not just a science lab but also a Tinkering Lab where students can give shape to their imagination.
Math Lab
Math Lab is a place for students to discover mathematics by doing. Appealing activities for a wide range of students with varying proficiency are introduced to generate further interest. These, in turn, help students to visualize, manipulate and reason the mathematical concepts.
Computer Lab
Google is our Educational Partner and uses its various tools and equipment for the education of children. Our computer lab is equipped with Google chrome books and also managed on Google MDM (Mobile Device Management) platform. It ensures that a child gets access to only age-appropriate content on the internet. Apart from it, our whole campus is Wi-fi enabled and we do use state of the art firewall from Cisco and an additional layer of security at Campus.
Robotics Lab
At Achievers, Robotics Lab brings STEAM to young learners with hands-on robotics activities such as assembling, building a controlled robot, using sensors and programming. While conceptualizing and programming the robot, students also learn about science, engineering, and maths and get an understanding of how these subjects integrate.
Library
A source of continuous delight and discovery for students, our library is equipped with an exhilarating treasure trove of information. In addition to a wide range of fiction and activity books, the library is well stocked with syllabus and reference books needed. Simple to locate and even simpler to use are the individual sections for journals while an adjoining deck invites both silent reflection and animated brainstorming.
