Art and craft inculcate the skills of experimenting, creativity, and fearless expression in a child and develop their sense of aesthetics. In pre-schooling, one of the primary skills acquired while performing art and crafts are fine motor skills, which further help them in several other complex activities such as writing, buttoning. Another vital skill picked up is Language development, which they build as a result of describing and explaining what they have crafted or drawn. Some of the additional benefits of art & activities include enhanced concentration, stronger mathematical concepts and improved self-esteem. The curriculum offers a plethora of activities, including clay-modelling, fingerprinting, sponge printing, paper crumpling, etc. A testament to the effectiveness of our program is the success our students have seen at the art & craft competitions at school, state as well as national level.
